This has been incredibly frustrating.
I escalated this to Verizon corporate over two months ago And they assigned a team of engineers to research the problem.
To date there has been no success whatsoever.
Every time I try to conference it drops both calls. Apparently this is an enormous problem for them company wide.
All of my friends who have Verizon say they have the same issue. There has to be a solution. Customerservice if you’re listening please escalate this

Toggle the LTE by going to
Settings > Cellular > cellular data options > Enable LTE > Off
Leave LTE off for about 30 seconds and then turn back on.
Let us know your results.
