I'm starting this thread to lead out on the Order status...

What is yours?

Here is what i was able to do:

Ordered iPhone X 256GB Silver

Logged into Verizon at 12:55am MDT  (6 minutes before the phone was avialable to purchase).

I traded in my iPhone 7+ 256GB Jet Black.

I completed my order (oddly, it let me) in 5 minutes.  My order was complete at 1:00am MDT.

I have a confirmed order for November 3rd. (no real ship date info yet).

Apple will send from China direct to customers. when you order from the carrier Apple will ship those to carrier warehouses and then carrier will ship to us. Last years 7 Plus and this years Apple Watch 3, I was billed on the Thursday prior, and they were overnighted, and I had them on release day.

Okay I take that back they did charge my debit, but same with no tracking info yet

Its interesting that people are starting to get their cards charged.  They don't usually do that to until the very last minute prior to shipping....

As an added note you can check FedEx Insight... to see if they have created a label for you: www.fedex.com/us/fcl/pckgenvlp/insight    or login to your FedEx ship manager account... I don't see one created for me yet.

They usually use FedEx, but if you have a shipment manager account for UPS you can find out the same things!

they simply removed ALL date related to my order status page!  No ship or delivery time.... which is typical of them.  They do that so people won't get mad... well, they create another problem!  People get mad regardless!  ha.... or get worried their order isn't being processed... ha ha ha.... be patient people... and ... as an added note.... there were a few people that got their Apple Watches a day early.... so some of us might get lucky.. ha.... not holding my breath.

I got my tracking number!! lol im just kidding I scare y'all didn't I? just trying to lighten this stressful iPhone time Smiley Happy but on a serious note what does it mean when they remove the delivery date? motch6

My card was charged earlier this morning.  Which is kinda strange as in previous pre-orders I was never charged until a day or so before shipping.  Interesting...

I was just speaking to Verizon Wireless customer service and they told me a lot of their customers charge cards are being declined because the credit card companies think they may be fraudulent purchases due to the amount of the purchase. That happened to me since I ordered 2 iPhone X's.  Verizon sent me an email telling me my card was declined. Fortunately the order was not canceled and I was able to quickly fix it by using a different credit card and the charge immediately got pre-approved from my credit card company. When I spoke to the Verizon rep she said it still looks like I'm on track for an 11/3 delivery. Keeping my fingers crossed.

Yes. When I check my order on My Verizon iPhone app it says "We're getting your order ready" and it does show my updated credit card. When I check the status by clicking the link in my confirmation email it does show a 11/3 delivery. When I check the status on the Verizon website it appears all dates have been removed. Someone else reported that as well. They wouldn't have charged my credit card if shipping was not imminent.

Verizon website says delivery date Nov 3 but he app says ”ship around Nov 3”....

I’ve been told 2 different things by customer service, one said it will deliver on the 3rd and the other says it will be shipped on the 3rd.

wish i knew when to expect it.

Ordered at 3:15 AM EST and order still processing and no charge in card.

When you preorder the phone, it will arrive by release date.  Every time I have pre-ordered...the phone would usually get to my local FedEx facility by Wed, Thu the latest and they hold it until the Fri it is released.

which is weird because verizon says they only charge the card once its shipped. but no tracking info.
