iphone 5s still no update on shipping.

like everyone else i ordered my phone on launch day. should have just went to the store cause my sister was able to just walk right in and get it. anyway i know people got an email about shipping oct. but i never got that. my card still hasnt been charge. when i check my preorder number it says

We received your order and it is in process. Payment not taken yet.

Expected Ship Date: Not available at this time.

and if i check my order history there is nothing there. is that because its a preorder and not ordered yet?
