My iphone will not accept a charge, do i need to replace the battery?

I'm so sorry about your phone, 12345679794!

Because the battery is built into the phone, the device may need to be replaced. Are you using the original wall charger? Do not try using the USB cable connect to a vehicle charger or computer/lap top. Keep in mind if an iPhone is completely drained of its charge, it may take 15-20 minutes for it to have enough juice to power on. Keep me posted!
