My wife updated her phone to 10.0.2 today and she has not been able to call out or receive a call since. We have powered off several times, removed the SIM card a couple of times, we have reset the networks and still nothing and not only that, sometimes when we try to make a call and the call has failed an AT&T pops up where the Verizon is on the top of the screen. My phone is not having any issues and we are on the same plan. Any advice?
I would suggest ensuring you are in a strong LTE VZW Coverage area and power cycling the phone.

Having reliable service is a must, SEAMCC77. It is indeed alarming that the software update has caused the service to not work on your wife's phone. Let's get to the bottom of this. Is the iPhone 5 a Verizon phone? What zip code is this issue occuring at?
