I just got my iphone 4s today and texting, web, wireless internet works but I can't get calls or make any calls. When I try to make a call it says "Im sorry but your phone can not be authenticated" why?? I have service, and I've tried turning it off and on, I don't get it.
Try dialing *228 from the phone. If that doesn't work, maybe *611, taking it into a Verizon store or use a working phone to call them at (800) 922-0204.

In the event that you get the authentication error message, you would need to give us a call from a different phone if possible, by dialing 800.922.0204 option 3.
We will need to get you all squared away in our system with the account changes on order to get your calls to authenticate.
