I have a Iphone 4s and my husband just got one. My txt messages are being sent to both of our phones. How do I turn his off for recieving my txt messages?
Under messaging you can put the receiver as your phone number on your phone for imessegeing and that should fix it. Don't have your apple I'd. Only iMessege this is for.
Hi 4theonix,
This is a very common issue when more than one Apple product exists in the home. Did the steps from gina7239 correct the trouble? If not please check if the devices are set up with the same Apple ID. Messaging with iMessages goes through the Apple ID and if both devices use the same one, then both devices will get the same messages. To get your husbands device with a different ID, please follow the steps on http://bit.ly/uBfksa and set it up as a new device. Please keep us posted.
Thank you,
