text problem with 4s

I can send and receive text messages.  One friend (also a Verizon 4s customer) cannot successfully send me a text.  I.E., she sends the text and it looks successful but I never receive it.  I believe that I have received texts from her in the past but not sure.  I can successfully send and receive texts from everyone else as far as I can tell...only her texts never reach me.  ?????? P>S> she can call me successfully and she can receive my texts to her.

It might be the other phone not yours. Do you have all settings like if it's a picture message you have to have mms on.

Let's see what's causing the problem! Have you confirmed if your friend is using iMessage or stock messaging? I suggest checking your iMessage feature: Settings>Messages>Turn iMessage on.  Additionally, you may also want to restart your device my holding the home and power button simultaneously until the apple appears.
