You can walk into a Verizon store 9/16 and get an iPhone 7 if you can find one available my local store said they will be opening at 7am!

Funny thing is 2 years ago when the iPhone 6 came out everyone online was freaking out about ship dates changing blah blah blah...I stood in line at the Verizon store and got my phones that day lol. The only issue this time is because they got rid of the subsidized phone programs the 650 dollar trade in offer might not be there after release....

I chatted with a rep today and asked the same thing.. And if lucky enough to find one in store could you drop the preorder and the answer is yes.. Now I don't know if it depends how far alone you're preorder is but being mine won't ship till Nov. I should be good..
