Hello All,
I made some purchases about 7 weeks ago and should've received a rebate for 2 sets of earbuds "on us". I haven't received anything in my e-mail and it sounds like customer service has no idea what I'm talking about and can't locate any rebates. Did anyone have any trouble with this? I've been looking through a few of the forums and it seems like a common theme.

I never received a promotion code. Ive called, chatted, and called again. Keeep waiting for the email... your issue has been escalated. Ive been trying to get this information since I boughht the headphones.

Same here! Not promotion code, no email, no notifications to submit a rebate. Why isn't Verizon doing anything about this?
I should have never made the switch.

You have to get the rebate email in order to send it in!! No one is getting the emails!! And, it appears that possibly you were supposed to purchase the earbuds up front and then get reimbursed (which glad I didn't with all these issues...I don't have that kind of money). HOWEVER, my sales representative DID NOT tell me that!! I was told I would get a rebate or offer to get them in like 2 months after I had the phones. Of course, like I said, I didn't get the rebate offer that was to be emailed to me and neither did most people. I was assured when I went back to the store to confront the sales rep that Verizon WOULD MAKE THIS RIGHT. Now, I am not so sure!!

I went straight back to the store, to the exact guy who sold me the 4 phones we upgraded!! Yes!! 4 PHONES...PLUS GOT A TABLET!! I would not have known about the earbuds if he hadn't told me about them. Said I would have to wait about 2 months to get the email. So, I did. Nothing! So, I went straight to the source. He, his supervisor, and customer service confirmed I did not receive the email and should have. From there a ticket or whatever they call it was created and I was told he would be back in touch with me as soon as he found out something. Eventually, maybe another visit to the store...I did get word back from him that I would be getting the earbuds either mailed to me or a online "gift card" to my account in the amount to purchase them...he said once he got notice of which one was going to happen, he would let me know. (It seems as though most of you purchased yours in advance and have to get a refund/credit...man! I would really be mad!!) Anyway, he had actually given me his personal cell number so I wouldn't have to mess with customer service and routing calls...it has been 4+weeks now and I have not heard back from him, he doesn't return my calls or texts. I have called the store number which goes to the central station and they have to "decide" if they WANT to transfer you or not...they have refused twice but have attempted to reach out and ask for the guy that helped me or what I should do. Once they told me he wasn't there and the other time, the guy from the store supposedly told them I had to go online and complete some form or something in order to get them or file a complaint maybe...I tried telling them all that had already been done!! I am just waiting on thendecision!! Or an update!! Why can't anyone please help me. I couldn't even get transfered to the guy who helped me, his supervisor, even though I knew her first name and she knew what was going on!! So, I called customer service or the promo line back AND put in a service notice online via chat...that was at least 1 week ago. Still...NOTHING!! SO FRUSTRATING WHEN YOU DON'T GET WHAT YOU ARE PROMISED!! #Goodluck to you and everyone else!!

Getting the run around about a promotion is never a great feeling, Jrandoplh78. I know I wouldn't want to be treated that way when trying to deal with a missing rebate or promotion. Same boat, Mike. Traded in two phones and a watch. Was told that one phone covered the watch more or less (negligible monthly fee), and the second phone made me eligible for a free set of earbuds, which I would receive an email on the instructions. No email yet. Then I swapped a third phone under the same promotion and again have heard nothing about the earbuds via email as promised.
Just need some feedback. The authorized Verizon dealer was either full of it to make their numbers, or they misrepresented the intent of the promotion. They referred me to Verizon directly, but I opted for a web search which led me here, before speaking to a live person that might refer me back to the authorized dealer and a potential circle of confusion.
