That is something that we'll need to get fixed ASAP! Is there any damage to the device? Have you tried removing the battery? Does it respond to a charger at all?

I am having the opposite problem. I have set my backlight to shut off after 7 seconds but now it won't shut off at all and it just started happening today. Also the key pad won't lock although I have it set to lock automatically. How can I fix this? I have even tried turning off the phone for a while.
Update- I tried what verizon suggested to the other person about removing the battery and turning it back on again and it worked. Thanks.
