I want you to know…
If you purchased the Samsung Intensity III with 2-years contract on Verizon .com last week, you paid $129.99 less $50.00 = $79.99
The price was dropped on the beginning of this week to $99.99 less $50.00 = $49.99
Verizon will not notify you about the price drop nor give you a credit automatically.
I purchased Samsung Intensity III last Tuesday. Because I was having a problem, on Monday, 7/23/12, I checked the basic phones to see if there is another phone I could be interesting too, and to make an exchange during the 14 days period.
I found the price lower than I paid. Yesterday I called Verizon and they credited my account for $30.00 ($129.99 -$99.99), without any problems.
If you are still in within 14 days of purchase, check the current prices and get your money back. $30.00 is not a lot, but in my situation, covers the rip-of $30.00 which Verizon start charging their loyal customers (not a new customers) for the “Upgrade Fee”.
