Can I retrieve texts that were deleted ?

Not sure exactly what you are asking but if you mean can I retreive messages from a previous number you had on the same phone? Nope, your phone # is your phones ID so if it changes ID then the old one is gone. BUT yo could check the history on  the Verizon website which ...might... have kept the records from your old number. (or at least still allow you to see them)
