Is there a way to save a picture after zooming in?   The only options under the options menu is either "fit to screen" or turn the "preview off"  What gives???  Why would the phone allow you to zoom in, but NOT let you save the final result?  Please help!!!!

Because it is a basic phone with basic functionality. It allows you to zoom into a picture for viewing purposes but is in no way a photo editor, beyond what was mentioned above-- it allows a picture to be rotated for saving as a wallpaper....

Great questions, BPENT1. Are you trying to crop the photo?

There isn't a function for cropping per se.  There is, however, a function that is; "zoom/rotate", and you can do either.  You just can't save them after adjusting the picture.  Underneath the zoom/rotate function is an "edit" function where you can also rotate a picture and it gives you the option to save it.  It's odd to me that there are two different places within the phone to rotate a picture and only one of those locations allows you to save it, and the only place within the phone that allows you to zoom in, or as you suggested, crop a picture but it does not allow you to save it.  Why even have the function if you cannot save the final result?

Not so.  It does have a built in photo editor.  But thanks for replying.....

"Not so."??

How am I incorrect? I have stated that it is a basic phone with basic functionality-- corraborating exactly with what you stated that when you click the "edit" button, it only allows you to rotate and save it, and doesn't even allow you to crop it. If this is not basic photo "editing" I don't know what is, as it couldn't possibly get more basic.

Stating "not so" and that the phone "does have a built in photo editor" is just silly.... I explained why this is considered basic and backed up what I said. You can call it "Super Advanced Photo Editor Extreme Plus" if you like but that doesn't change that it's editing functionality is as simple and basic as it could possibly get, and again-- this is because it is not a smartphone, it is a basic phone with basic functions and basic photo editing.

Look Mr. Lukevinyl, I'm not writing in this forum to argue semantics with you or anyone for that matter, my time is too valuable.  I agree with you, the phone is a basic phone with a basic photo editor.  But IT does edit photos that are taken with it.  Would you agree?  Although basic, it allows for a photo to be rotated, flipped, brightness, contrast, saturation, resizing and for effects to be applied like black & white, sepia, stretching and embossing all of which can be saved.  If that is not a photo editor, albeit basic, then I am as you said, "silly".  It also offers to zoom as well, however, that cannot be saved, and that seems odd to me.  Logic would dictate that since it saves all the other functions why wouldn't it save a picture that was zoomed.  That is my question sir.  If you are able to explain that to me in a tempered and informative tone then I would, greatly, like to read your explanation.  If you do not know then just "own it" and tell me you don't know.  That's cool too.  And by the way,  I understand that this is not a smartphone, I am not stupid, and I'm slightly offended by your implication that I am.  Have a great day....

OK then....

As to why it saves all the other functions but doesn't save a picture that was zoomed-- there is certainly no one who is going to be able to tell you this, unless you are able to find the engineers who designed and tested it.

I understand wanting to crop a picture Bpent1. The phone does not have the capability to crop photos. The good news is you can move the photo to your computer and crop it there. Here https://www.verizonwireless.com/support/knowledge-base-204472/ are the instructions on how to do that. Does this help?
