Can't access voicemail on my Kyocera

I was able to access voicemail just find on my Kyocera flip phone until I switched to a travel plan on another phone and then switched back to my flip phone and removed the travel plan. (It wasn't Travel Pass but another Travel plan.) Now I'm back on the flip phone with the travel plan removed, I get a message that says "Welcome to Verizon Wireless. Your call cannot be completed as the called party is temporarily unavailable." People calling me can't leave voice messages either. I've tried calling my 10 digit number and *86 to no avail. Calls to Verizon have not been fruitful either. I'd love to hear any ideas.

You mentioned having a travel plan and then having it removed. Are you currently within the country? Are you having issues with calling, texting or mobile data? What happens exactly when you call your 10 digit mobile number?
