I have a Chevrolet Malibu that has bluetooth built in which allows you to pair a bluetooth device and use automated call features. My previous phone a LG VU seemed to work fine. I paired the phone and added the contact through the car. When I wanted to call someone I would just use the in car bluetooth interface to start the call which would then pass the call to the phone. With the Convoy 2 the car confirms the device and the caller to be called but when it comes to placing the call it doesn't go through. Now if I start the call from my phone the car will pick that up and I'll be able to speak through the cars mic and hear through the speakers. So I know that the car and phone are paired correctly.
Is the phone just not compatible with GM's calling when done through their bluetooth interface? Maybe there is a option on the phone in a area other than bluetooth settings that needs to be altered?
Thank you for you time.
