Delete a contact LG Cosmos 3

I have a contact that I can not delete nor can I edit the name.

It is showing an icon of a person.

It is not like the others where you would see a house or cell phone.

When I go to edit all it shows is Name and number fields.

There are no other fields.

In fact it looks like this.

How can I delete or edit this contact?

Any help would be appreciated.

I'm sorry to hear that you are having issues with deleting a contact from your phone jlphone. Have you tried to select the Menu key to edit the contact? Is is a contact you have on a social media site or saved to your cloud services? Are you able to call or message the contact?

There is NO delete when I go to Menu.

Options shows no delete.

This is on the phone and NOT on social media.

This contact does not show up in the Verizon Cloud for some reason.

Yes I can call that contact.

It is a Voicemail contact listing.

I do believe it should show up as "#VM" and not "Voicemail".

The one I have shows up as "Voicemail" and has an icon like I posted in my original posting.

Yes it does.

I just want to have it look like the other special contacts such as #BAL but have show up as #VM.

Thanks for the information jlphone. If this is your voicemail, its auto programmed on your phone. Why do you want to remove it? Are you having issues with it?

I just wanted it look like the others special number as I previously noted.

Should be listed as #86 or should it be Voicemail.

jlphone,

No worries! While those special # fucntions are stored in the phone before you receive it, they are able to be edited. Since voicemail is not a # function, it may be easiest to store it as voicemail. The actual number that the phone dials is *86, not #86.
