Ebay phone

I want to replace my LG Accolade 5600 with a new one from Ebay.  How do I activate the new phone using my current contract. and number

Dial *228, choose option 1. If that doesn't work do it on "My Verizon" if you're the account owner. If that doesn't work call Verizon from another phone. If that doesn't work return your phone to the person you bought it from.
