My teenage daughter is freaking out over apparently losing all her photos and ringtones including her Harry Potter one. She connected the LG to her Macbook Pro via USB. She tells me that the phone appeared as a mass storage device or CD according to her Mac. She didn't recognize what to do and thought she better abort so she attempted to eject the phone. The phone then reset at least partially and she cannot find her lost data. However, it did not erase her contacts or text messages. I've had phones that have been reset, most recently my iPhone 4 (watch out for glitches with latest OS update and backup to the cloud NOW!) but i've never seen a partial loss in specific data. Is there a chance that it may be recoverable?
