How can I invoke my calendar events to be saved to the microSD Card and stop the "memory Full" msg?

I have an Octane. When entering calendar events it displays "memory full". How do I invoke the microSD card for Calendar Events? I'm assuming it is directed to internal memory.

I've deleted a lot of recurrance dates.

On the Octane, saving the calendar to the SD card may not be an option.  The number of events on the calendar will be limited, so deleting events that have already passed may be the only way to free up space.
