How do I deleta a Phone LG Cosmos 3 ?

I got this phone thinking it was a Smart phone and I started the activation ect. Then was not only surprised it was just a basic phone but my G-Friend freaked as she wanted to do all the activation etc. in her name.

She is under the impression since she is disabled and on SS she can get some special plan or something.

So now I need to basically set the phone back to like it was new, not to mention I would not use it as I am looking for a smart phone not a basic one.

You are not going to find a brand new smart phone with a physical keyboard.  They all have on screen keyboards now.  Read here how to factory rest.  Mary

Thanks, I am not that big into that keyboard anyway, It is for the G-Friend she has issues typing on a Smart style phone and thought the keyboard would be better.

for me I would be better with something like the Dragon or so where I can talk an dit types for me .

SO this reset will set the phone back to like when I unpacked it?

But the Ph # will still be the same or will it need to be activated just like when unpacked?

It will be back to factory settings but will still be activated on the account.   My 24yr old son does not like on screen keyboards either.  He was still using a basic phone with a keyboard up until this past summer because all the new smart phones have on screen keyboards.  My son is a good guy in grad school and we wanted to upgrade him to a smart phone on our plan but he kept refusing because of the keyboard issue, weird for a kid his age. 

  We stumbled upon an LG stratosphere smart phone that had a touch screen on the front for apps and stuff with a slide out keyboard.  He is so happy with it.  We managed to find it at best buy on clearance for 99 cents with his contract renewal.  Now me I am 51 and love my smart phone with on screen keyboard and swipe and all that and I do use the microphone to dictate my emails and text and search Google and stuff.    Mary
