I have 3 phones on my plan and want to cancel the basic phone. The contract is up in October 2013. How much will I be charged to cancel now?

Contract is 24 months, it is currently July and your contract expires in October.
This means you have 3 months left on your contract (approximately).
Basic phone ETF is $175, minus $5 for each month completed.
You've completed about 21 months so your ETF should be around $70 dollars, maybe $80 depending on what date your contract ends in October.

Basic phone is $9.99 per month plus approximately $5 for taxes and fees. It would be cheaper to keep it until your contract expires.

I have 2 smart phones and 1 basic. One smartphone is now month to month. My plan is for 700 minutes, unlimited text, and 1 phone with 2GB's of data and the month to month phone has unlimited data.
If I cancel the month to month will I be stuck paying the 700 minutes, 2 phones unlimited texting and unlimited data.
I just want 1 smart phone with 2gb of data, 350 minutes and unlimited texting.
If I remove the basic phone and other smartphone can I change my plan to "2gb of data, 350 minutes and unlimited texting."?

If I cancel the month to month will I be stuck paying the 700 minutes, 2 phones unlimited texting and unlimited data. If you cancel the month to month smartphone with unlimited data, you will then be left with a basic and a smartphone, 700 minutes shared, a 2 GB data plan on the smartphone and unlimited texting.
I just want 1 smart phone with 2gb of data, 350 minutes and unlimited texting. If you also cancel the basic phone, you will pay the ETF of ~$70, and then be left with one line. The lowest minute plan for a single line is 450 minutes; with that plan, unlimited texting and 2 GB data, your base will be $90.
If I remove the basic phone and other smartphone can I change my plan to "2gb of data, 350 minutes and unlimited texting."? You can change your plan to 2GB data, 450 minutes, and unlimited texting.

Hi Kayaking2,
Great question! It's important to make sure that you get the best value for your plan. The smallest plan that we currently offer on the Nationwide plan is 700 minute Family Share. You can go on a Single line Nationwide Family Share with 450 minutes, unlimited texting $59.99 and 2GB/$30 for a total of $89.99. This plan is a grandfathered plan, so once we remove the plan then it is no longer available. The next option would be our new http://bit.ly/xdDajD Share Everything Plans. You change your plan at anytime via MyVerizon http://bit.ly/xB4iTc . Have a great day!
