There are three ways that I am aware of, though using a microSD card is by far the best way (IMHO).
The first is to send a text message to your email address. Although it is being sent to your email, it still counts as a text (MMS) message. Each needs to be sent individually, so if you have a lot, it will be time consuming.
The second is to send the pics to your online album and retrieve via MyVerizon. I haven't done so recently, but the process used to be difficult, and took longer than sending the pics to your email address.
The third way is to use a third party software called bitpim to get access to the internal memory of the phone where the pix are stored.I have used this to get at pix on an old flip phone that did not have a memory card, You can also brick your phone if you move or delete the wrong file(s), so use it with caution.
As I said at the beginning, a microSD card is definitely my preferred method, and they are inexpensive.
