Call customer service from a different phone (not the iPhone or the Voyager) - 800-922-0204 - and let them troubleshoot why it won't activate. You can also try calling *228 option 1 from the Voyager; it will either activate, connect you to customer service, or instruct you to call customer service.

I hope you're activated on your Voyager now. The reason you may not have been able to activate it through the IVR (*228) would be due to the data package on your account.
You can usually process this change online at vzw.com as it will give you the proper disclosures for removing this data package. Of course we will also provide the same disclosures when you speak to us!
