You can chat with a rep via computer by logging on with your MyVerizon account - quite often when I am poking around my account, looking at options, I'll get a pop up chat window. Typically it's a sales rep, but I had an activation issue and was transferred to a support chat and the activation was completed in about 5 minutes.
If you want to talk to someone on the phone, call *611 on your handset, or 800-922-0204, choose option 4 for "Other", then SAY "AGENT" at the voice prompt. They'll tell you the wait time...sometimes it's pretty quick, sometimes it's longer. You can decide if the time will work for you, and try again another time if it's not going to work right then.
