How do i unlock a phone i forgot my password to?
What type of phone do you have? Android? Apple? BlackBerry? Windows? Basic phone? Details, please.

it's a basic phone pantech prepaid phone, my niece had it and she doesn't remember the code she locked it with
I hate it when that happens NatStevee! There a couple of things you can try:
1) The default is the last 4 digits of the phone number.
2) Try 0000, 1111, 2222, etc.
3) Try going to dial *22899 (may be accessible in the emergency dial screen). When it is done programming, the last 4 digits of the phone number will be the password when it comes back on.
4) Take it to the store and have them "flash it" if possible. This will erase all info on it.
