Is it possible to look through past text messages using the IMEI?
If you are the account owner, you can log on and see the numbers, dates, and times texts were sent to and from a particular line on your account. If you want the text history of a particular phone, (one you know the IMEI) I don't know if that is possible. A phone can be activated on any acccount/line as long as the ESN or IMEI is clear.
Maybe someone with more knowledge than I have can tell you if the IMEI gets you a history of which lines a phone has been on; but the texting history you would need to have access to the account, and that history only goes back 3 months.
There is not a way to get the whole history. But what you can do is call cust care and they can add the extended billing feature for 1.99 per month and have them reprint your bills as far back as you need.
