Is there a way to transfer text messages from my Samsung Intensity II to PC? I plan on upgrading this phone, but have some messages that I need to keep. Is this possible? If so, is it easy?

Looking for help on the above question.  Will be upgrading to smartphone.  Messages don't seem to be stored on removable memory card, but in phone memory (which is not accessible through the USB connection to a PC).  Have over 500 msgs, so I don't want to forward them one-at-a-time to an e-mail address.  Any ideas?  Thanks!
