I have the same question. For example, in the list of messages in a conversation, one of them has what appears to be a message icon with a tiny info icon (lower case "i" in a circle) at its upper right corner. What does that mean?

The equivalent of Backup Assistant is in the Media Center listed as Cloud. When I started my phone, all my contacts were downloaded from my old phone. Cloud will back up daily at around noon.
