I just purchased the DuraXV Extreme as a upgrade to the DuraXV LTE.

It seems like a nice upgrade. The only issue is that it doesn't have the "Verizon Message+" app. Only a basic messaging app. This is a very disturbing downgrade. Why was is taken out? is there any way to have it put in? Will it be included in a software update?

I have a thousand dollar phone and wouldn't install that unless I was paid to.  If your messenger app sends sms and mms, it does what needs to.

Sorry but the Message+ app has many great features such as muting conversations and message syncing. It's a real shame that it wasn't included on this phone. I will be returning this new device if I don't figure out a way to have the message+ app on it.

Here1, we want you to love your new phone. We understand your need to have the Message+ app on your phone. Have you tried downloading the app by visiting the media center on your phone?

I finally got them to admit that they messed up on this:

Verizon clearly indicated that this phone includes Message+

Link doesn't work but PC magazine says there are no messaging apps other than SMS.
