LG Extravert will not turn on :(

I just got a real cell phone last week!  I love it!!!  However, today I am sad. 

The phone died this afternoon as I forgot to charge it last night.  I plugged the phone into the charger about 2 hours ago and it still will not turn on.  Previously I was able to turn the phone on while it was charging.

I hope someone can help me.
