I have an LG Octane that I have been very happy with thus far. All of a suddent a friend of mine is not recieving texts from me. This has caused quite a problem. When callin Verizon Customer service, I was told that I had to register for help and that they couldn't help me without registering...Oh did I mention they were charging me for the service? How can I get help with this problem. My friend said his carried said the problem is with my phone since I can receive texts from him...grrrrr Any suggestions?

Try clearing out your messages, both sent and received, then remove the battery (with the phone on), wait a couple of minutes, then put the battery back in and restart the phone. See if texting improves after this.
The Octane is a basic phone, so the memory gets eaten up quickly if you are texting heavily.

I have done all those things and it still doesn't work. And I know its a
basic phone. I should still be able to send and recieve texts. Not
everyone needs or can afford a smart phone with a data plan.
