LG Octane inbox full, then cleared. no message received?

Hi, i have an LG Octane.

I'm not very good about keeping my inbox clear. So every now and then in fills up, and i get the message saying that i can't receive my message until i clear some old messages.

So, i clear my inbox, but i never receive the message.

I'm missing important things because of this.

How can i get it to allow me to receive those messages?

Thanks!

Not sure how you can get those messages, but you can turn on "auto erase inbox". This will automatically delete oldest texts as new ones come in. You can lock a text message if you don't want it auto deleted. Go to messaging, settings, 4. Auto Erase Inbox.  It'll save around 400 messages in your in box.

You can also clear out the "sent" messages folder as well - lock the ones you want to save then set up the auto erase so you don't have to think about it.
