My son has broken his old phone and we have an LG Voyager that is not being used now. IF we activate it again will it require the $29.99 data plan package?

Hi zinger1234! The LG Voyager is classified as a feature phone, and therefore doesn't have a data feature requirement. Although I recommend a data feature for a Voyager (they start at $10.00 for 75 megabytes per month), you may choose to have no data plan with the Voyager.

You do not need a data plan or data with the Voyager - I used mine for over two years WITHOUT DATA. :smileyhappy:

If the Voyager wasn't active for the "certificate" update that is discussed in several locations here, then, in order to access Get It Now/Media Center, it may need additional attention.
