My friend took my phone and set a lock code and i dont know what it is and she wont tell me. Can i take it to a Verizon store and have them reset the phone?
You can do that. A simpler solution might be to pull the battery (with the phone on) and then reinsert the battery and restart the phone. The default code is the last 4 digits of your phone number, and the battery pull MAY reset it to the default.
If that doesn't work, the store may do a total reset which will erase all your contacts, pics, etc - so a backup before taking it to the store would be a good idea.
Better yet, convince your "friend" to give you the code and keep your phone away from that particular "friend" from now on...
