I had lots of messages on my phone and yesterday they disappeared. Need to find how to get them back

I understand how important those precious memories are! Are your device settings and call logs still present on the phone? Did you change any settings or select the option to reset to factory settings? Have you restarted the phone since the messages disappeared? I am eager to continue troubleshooting with you!
