I have no problem setting it, the volume is plenty loud and the ringtone is audible when you test it but the alarm refuses to go off at the set time. It doesn't matter if I set it for once or daily. I have no other issues with the phone and really like it but how do I fix this problem?

After you set the alarm do you notice that the alarm appears in the Menu mode at the top of the screen?
Please attempt resetting the alarm settings:
1. Slide the phone up, tap Tools and then tap Alarm Clock.
2. Tap Reset All.
3. Tap Yes to confirm.
