Hi - here's the situation.
My daughter has a LG Cosmos 2 that stopped charging this week. We tried fixing that problem but no luck.
I just upgraded my son from a LG Cosmos to a smart phone. I still have his old LG Cosmos which works fine.
How do I switch out my daughter's broken phone for my son's old working phone?
you can try to dial *228 on the phone you want to activate and then follow the prompts. alternatively you can call Verizon at 1-800-922-0204 and they can make the change for you

It's simple to change devices right online via your My Verizon Account: http://spr.ly/6581BHqMl Once you have changed the ESN or MEID hex info, (which can be found on the phone underneath the battery), then you'll dial *228 (send) option 1 for activation.
