Does anyone know if the Nokia Twist requires a data plan? I have seen some people say yes and others say no. Does anyone know for sure?
I don't know myself, but I would recommend call customer service with the ESN and see what it comes up as, they don't need to actually activate the phone to see, but they will need that to see what features would change, like adding the data plan.
No, it will not require a data plan. For a short time, feature phones known as "multimedia phones" required that $10 plan, but now none of the non-smartphones require a data plan.
