We don't have service at home and need to use wifi calling. Husband has Orbic V phone and can't get it to make wifi calls.
Wifi calling is turned on in phone. Took it to local verizon store and they confirmed HD calling is on. They couldn't log into their wifi so told me to take home and try again. Phone is logged into home wifi. Tried making call and it says "Cellular network not available" Local verizon store had no suggestions except to use warranty and get another Orbic V.
Any other ideas?
We certainly want to make sure your phone is registered for Wi-Fi calling. The iPhone requires a cellular connection while connected to Wi-Fi for it to register. If Wi-Fi calling is enabled without service on your phone, it will not work. Initial registration would need to be done while in a service area. I suggest disabling Wi-Fi calling and enable it back while the phone has service, then connect it to Wi-Fi. Let me know how that works.
