Just recently got a text but the sender was an email address. And it said "page" in it. That's all. I have no idea who it was and asked even. But what kind of text comes from an email?
Anyone can e-mail your phone by addressing the e-mail to your phone number followed by @vtext.com. It could be that someone sent someone an e-mail that had a phone number similar to yours and it went to your phone accidentally due to a typo.
