I bought a Pantech Hotshot online and it was shipped to the store. I have had problems after about 2 weeks. For some reason I never have service. Its always searching for Service. I might as well not even have a phone cause 80% of the time I can't use it. I have even pinged it a few times but it hasn't helped. I would not recommend this phone to anyone!!!!!!

I want you to enjoy the performance of your Pantech Hotshot mom2abbey! I would like to ask you a few questions to determine if the issues are possibly network related, versus, the handset itself.
Are the difficulties happening in one specific location or are they happening in multiple areas? Where are you located? Is this mostly indoors or outside? Did you have stronger service in the same locations with your previous device?
Once we gain answers to these questions, we will be able to provide a prompt resolution.

I had a LG Chocolate prior to the Pantech. I never had issues with the network . I live in Parma ,Ohio and work in Cleveland, Ohio. It happens everywhere all the time. It’s Definitely my phone. I know someone else who has the same phone. She always has service and she live less that 4 minutes away from me.

i can agree with you there. i got a replacement hotshot from verizon only 5 days ago. But now whenever i insert an sd card, the phone goes to a black screen with a pic of a computer and phone that says downloading. then underneath it, it says USB dump. I thought that a CLNR would have been checked for this issue. but my advice, those considering the hotshot DO NOT GO FOR IT!!!
