It is a site I enjoy helping others..... if I can. Anyways, I tried the code that used to work on my HTC and it is now blocked, but try on your Eris ##778 then hit call. Let me know if you get into a menu.  VZW and HTC may have killed off the option

I tried that on my galaxy nexus and it just placed a call to a Verizon message that said the number had changed.

That code was always an HTC  only code.
