mmy ringer is turned to high but no ringer sounds on incoming calls or alarm on lg exalt

Can you try making a call to #832 and putting the device on speaker.  If you're unable to hear with speakerphone, there may be a hardware issue.

Thanks, I could hear on speaker. I was able to get the ringer back by pressing # and 9 at the same time when an incoming call was coming in.
