My wife's samsung brightside does not ring until the callers 4th ring. Another issue is the caller ID does not display the caller only the #. Is there a way to fix these issues?
To display a name, the caller's # needs to be listed in phone's contacts, using the full 10-digit number with no leading "1".
As far as the delay between the caller hearing the ring sound and the phone actually ringing - I've noticed that I'll hear one or two rings on the calling phone before mine will actually start playing the ringtone.... it may depend on the strength of the signal or distance from the tower of one or both phones, and I have no answer for improving it. Wish I did...
I have had the same issues with my new Brightside. When I receive a call or a text message, the number appears and NOT the name. NOT happy with this phone.
