my phone (samsung intensity) wont take a charge from any of the outlets in my hose or the computer console. and when i do try to charge it, one of two things happens. 1) either the screen flashes the verizon logo multiole times, then goes black again. 2) an error message pops up saying the charger isnt a certified charger. i havent changed anything on this phone at all. i understand this could be because the phone is almost 2 years old now. but still, i need help, it doesnt take or hold a charge.
I know the charge is very important on a device determining the ability to use the phone. Have you tried a different charger with the device? If not, I would recommend this first. If you have tried a different charger you might be looking at replacing the device. If you want to try a master reset before looking into a replacement you can do so by Settings & Tools>Phone Settings>Security>Lock Code (last 4 of mobile # unless you changed it)>Restore Phone>Ok. Please keep in mind this will erase everything on the device. Please backup if desired. You will be prompted to reactivate by dialing *228 send option 1. If you are unaware of your replacement options you can PM me and I will be more than happy to further assist you. You may also look at your options by logging into your My Verizon account by clicking here Thank you.
My samsung Initensity will not hold a charge. I can plug it in at home over night and in the morning there is only one or two bars then it dies before i leave work in the evening. I took the phone to the Verizon store, they said to buy a new battery. I did ($40.00). It does the same thing. If it could be something besides the battery, i wish that they would have told me that so i did not spend the money. Please help!
