Text Counting under current usage

I'm wondering how Verizon counts texts because I have a total of 1890 texts, but adding up received and sent texts there is about a 700 text difference.

It shows: Sent: 594      Pix-Flix: 1

        Received: 528      Pix-Flix: 18

              Total:1790     Pix-Flix: 39

So I am wondering where the Totals come from, any help will be appreciated.

Perhaps some are VZ to VZ so do not count towards your allowance?  The sent/received count towards whatever allowance you have,and the total messages sent is larger since it also includes all M2M texts?  Just a guess...

anyone know how to view older text usage on myverizon?....only finding the current usage page

Go to View Bill - you can view texting detail for the previous 3 billing cycles (3 months back).  When you view your bill, there will be options for voice, messaging, and data details.
