I have a Samsung Intensity III. Well not that it matters I don't think. This is a text issue. Anyhow, I am signed up to receive weather alerts for cancellations of events. Well when these come in, they say they are from a coworker of mine. His name will show up, but when I open the text it is the alert for a cancellation. Now I guess it's not a huge deal, but how can I make it so this doesn't happen?
this may not fix the issue but, I once had a friends business number-name at two different contact locations. When his text came in most of the time first because his business name was first in the alphabetical contacts.
I went in and removed his business contact and after that his name only appeared my point here is check the contact list and see if some how your friends name is equated to your weather alerts and vis a vie .
Just an idea hope that is the problem so its an easy fix.
