Hi MaxCell,

Was there a particular reason you were looking to turn off 3G on the Convoy 2? This device uses 3G for faster browsing on Mobile Web along with other data services that are available. 3G is also used to send/receive picture messages. This phones battery life is not impacted by the connection to 3G. Due to this not being a negative impact to the phone, there isn't a way to turn off and on. Please keep me posted to know the details for why you wanted 3G off.

Hello,

Is there any way to turn off all data on a Samsung Convoy 2?  I am living out of the country, and despite denying data roaming, I am still getting billed for small amounts of data.  I would like to just turn data off on this phone.  Is that possible?

You can log into your on-line MyVerizon account and put a data block on the phone.
