Can I upgrade new basic phones and not switching to the new Share Everything Plan?

I'm assuming you're on a plan like the Nationwide Family Share Plan and not an old plan? If so, you should be able to upgrade your basic phones and choose from a tiered data plan (i.e., $30 for 2 gb data) for each phone. However, it also depends on how "new" those basic phones are. If they aren't eligible for upgrade, you'd need to pay full retail price for the new phones or get them someplace like ebay.

Hi there FrankatCommunit!
That is a really wonderful question. You are definitely able to keep your current plan when you upgrade regarding basic phones. The only "what if" situation would be if you have an Unlimited Data plan on your basic phone. The Unlimited Data plan would no longer be available if you upgraded at a discounted price.
If you don't have Unlimited Data then you don't have to worry about anything! I would still double check your usage and make sure Share Everything may be a better plan for you and your family!
Let us know if you have any further questions.
Thanks!
